What does CaptionCheck check?
Compare subtitle files by timeline
Import a primary track, then add a reference. Captions match by overlapping time ranges, not cue numbers or words. Review uncovered intervals, partial coverage and timing differences. Different segmentation, forced subtitles and intentional omissions require human judgment. This tool does not assess translation accuracy.
